Sunrise Family Session At Ka’ena Point | North Shore Family Session | North Shore Photographer

This was my first sunrise session here. Ka’ena point “grass” is different as the seasons change. We don’t know an actual schedule for when they’re coming to cut the weeds. I was so surprised, and oh so happy when I saw all the beautiful weeds still up. Sunrise here was so beautiful.
Kate + Paul wanted a family session, and to have something for their save the dates. It makes my heart so full when I hear my photos are being used for engagement, save the dates, or some cute photo cards. Anyways, the girls were so sweet, and Kate had that brand new mama look. Don’t think Paul didn’t either. You could just tell how much these two loved their little girls.
This rock is actually one of my favorite rocks on Ka’ena point haha. I enjoy putting my clients on top of trees, rocks, branches etc. it adds such a beautiful natural element.
The best part is that you could have the beach element, and never actually set foot on the beach. This location is perfect for having tho rock, fields, and mountain elements. You can pick to go down to the beach, or not. I think it’s great for couples, families, elopements, and intimate weddings.
